Who is responsible
Kamil Koralewski, ul. Stefana Banacha 39/16, 31-235 Kraków, Poland, contact@skih2h.com (the data controller). Write to that address for anything below.
Visitors
Searching and comparing skiers needs no account, and skih2h itself keeps nothing about you. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site.
Ads and cookies
skih2h shows ads from Google AdSense. Where the law requires it, Google asks for your consent first in a cookie message; with your consent Google and its partners use cookies to personalise and measure ads, and without it they show non-personalised ads using only what is strictly needed. You can change your choice at any time through that message. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites; Google’s advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads based on those visits. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors’ cookies at youronlinechoices.eu or aboutads.info. How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. The only cookie skih2h sets itself is the sign-in cookie below.
If you sign in
To save matchups we store your email address, your saved matchups and a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for 60 days. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. The legal basis is providing the service you asked for (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). We keep this until you delete your account with “Delete account” at the bottom of the site, which removes everything at once. Your email is used only to send sign-in links: no newsletters, no sharing, no selling.
Athletes
skih2h shows names, nations, birth years, race results and FIS points of alpine skiers, as published on the public FIS website (fis-ski.com). We show them to compare sporting results, which is our legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)); we do not store athlete profiles of our own, the pages are read from FIS when you open them. If you are an athlete, or the parent of an athlete under 18, and want your data not shown, write to contact@skih2h.com and we will act on it within 30 days.
Who else processes data
- Cloudflare (hosting and storage)
- Resend (sending sign-in emails)
- Google (ads, if you see them)
Some of them are based in the USA. Transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, a copy of it, its correction or deletion, to restrict or object to its use, and you can withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.
